Founded in 2011, grove-bear began with a simple observation: financial education was missing from most people's lives. Our founder, after years working in banking, noticed that clients often lacked basic money management skills that could have prevented their financial difficulties.
What started as weekend workshops at a community centre in Redland has grown into a respected academy serving thousands of students across Bristol. We believe financial literacy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background.
